A mobile app for Milwaukee residents that like knowing their garbage pickup schedule.

About

Milwaukee garbage and recycling schedules can be irregular, especially in winter. I wanted an easier way to find my next pickup than using the City of Milwaukee's web site. I also hadn't made an Android app before, so decided I'd make one for this.

Currently only available for Android phones/tablets. A iOS version may happen soon... it requires a Mac (planning to borrow one) and some free time (which is hard to come by these days).

Free apps that show a ton of ads get cluttered and take away from the app's purpose. If I like the app I don't mind paying a couple of bucks to remove them.

The information displayed in this application comes directly from the official City of Milwaukee web site*. That is, the application’s information is only as reliable as their information. Causes for incorrect information may be due to:

  • Incorrect information provided by the city web site*
  • The city web site not being accessible.
  • The web site changing, thus “breaking” the manner in which this application uses the web site.
  • Other changes beyond the control of this application.
